I’ve always been told that my face belongs to the more mature category. I dislike looking too old. I want to look at least my age. I was heading out for dinner and I was feeling a little lazy. Long skirts are the first to come into my mind in such cases. And the additional tag along is I will be lazy to put on makeup as well. =p  The skirt will appear overly solemn and when matched with my face, you will get an old hag. To counter that effect, I lighten the outfit with my kitten top. It serves to make the outfit looks a little more casual and playful. Now I look my age already. (:

Nothing beats retail therapy right? I was enjoying myself at Zara after seeing the huge sales sign. Who can resist right?!?! I took some photos of some pieces that caught my eye. Those tagged with NOT are those I decided to forgo. So girls, look out for those tagged with yeah in my future pairings. In case, some of you wish to know which outlet I went, I went to the Zara in Vivocity.

Pardon the dark photos. I faced an unavoidable problem of nature. The setting sun as my work takes place in the evening. I decided upon the peplum skirt as my focus for today, and I paired it up with my recent craze of printed tops. The printed top works to make me look a little younger than what I would have otherwise looked like with a peplum skirt. So now you know ladies, though peplum skirt does make you look a little more mature, you can counter it with prints to bring off a younger vibe. I wore this pair of black wedges as they are really comfortable! I’m so not a heels kinda girl, it’s always wedges for me. I can’t fathom the girls that wear 6” heels. Doesn’t it hurt like mad? All in the name of vanity I guess. (:

I wore this last year during the winter season, in Singapore’s case; it’ll be the monsoon season, which are also freakishly cold, brrrr. So as all of you should know by now, I’ve zero tolerance towards the cold, so I decided to style with knit during the photoshoot.

Truth to be told, not much styling was involved, I simply added sheer stockings and scarf to the mix, and voila, outfit is out. Also, the scarf came in handy because I don’t know why it didn’t occurred to me that the knit is in crochet form and thus would be “see through”. I actually wore it out without any inner slip, scarf to the rescue!

I retook the outfit, because I realised the lighting runs a little dark in the photoshoot, and this time, I skipped the scarf and stockings all for one reason, it wasn’t cold on the day that I did the shoot.

After I came home, I realised, I didn't draw my brows! /laughs

Recently, I've been loving the colour orange, or anything corally orange/red/pink. You know, basically that same group of colours. I find myself reaching out for orange skirt, orange top, orange shorts. Even my online buys, I've been choosing orange stuffs!

So, that day, I was having lots of random inspiration, I woke up wanting to wear my orange skirt and leopard prints pump. Then I thought, wouldn't this skirt make me look oldish and office lady like? Not a look that I fancy, so I wanted to change the feel of the outfit, that's when the vest and the necklace came in. Honestly, I didn't expect it to work! When I looked in the mirror, I was like, omg? It worked! Oh, by the way, I love my eyeliner that day, although it makes me looked like I've droopy eyes. ):

Do anyone knows how to rectify this problem? blogger is not correcting my first letter of every sentence, neither is it giving me auto caps for i. all the things im typing doesnt come with any apostrophe(')! its frustrating that ive to manually edit all my "i", "i'll", "i've", "doesn't". UGHH
