There’s always been a unspoken rule that clothes aren’t
supposed to be repeated. They will look the same. Well, I’ve always believe
that rules were meant to be broken, so here’s my feeble attempt at restyling my
clothes. You can see my previous pairing here. So this time, I matched with my
new purchase, a floral top. I wanted to go all floral initially, with floral
shoes and such. But it turned out to be quite a disaster so I scrapped the
idea. Instead, I decided to play around with stud accessories instead, I’m an
avid lover of studs, since studs don’t clash with the outfit, why not? Well,
this certainly will not be the last time I restyle my wardrobe.

OOTD: Peplum
On the way for job briefing. |
While in cab.. |
Outfit:
Top; Newlook
Perplum skirt; Cotton on
Bag; Kate Spade
Wedges; Newlook
Necklace; Bangkok
Bracelets; Cotton on / Rubi Shoes
Watch(old); Armani Exchange
Pardon the dark photos. I faced an unavoidable problem of
nature. The setting sun as my work takes place in the evening. I decided upon
the peplum skirt as my focus for today, and I paired it up with my recent craze
of printed tops. The printed top works to make me look a little younger than
what I would have otherwise looked like with a peplum skirt. So now you know
ladies, though peplum skirt does make you look a little more mature, you can counter
it with prints to bring off a younger vibe. I wore this pair of black wedges as
they are really comfortable! I’m so not a heels kinda girl, it’s always wedges
for me. I can’t fathom the girls that wear 6” heels. Doesn’t it hurt like mad?
All in the name of vanity I guess. (:

I decided to stick with the summer theme for the day. Hat and
sunnies armed. But I’m headed for a cold environment, so my previous outfit wouldn’t
work at all. Time for plan B! I decided to play with bright sunny colours,
lime yellow/green and bright green! A cardi to fight with the cold, yellow top of thin
comfy material for summer and purple sandals! I got the bracelet at a steal! It is
spikes and it is yellow! Awesome! Summer day in an air-conditioned place, I’m
good to go! (:
