Hello everybody! I’m back! This is just an outfit I worn during my birthday, which is two weeks ago. If you have followed my blog for awhile, you would know that I went for a little hiatus due to examinations. Hoo boy,the last paper I had was horrible. The questions were so tricky, and there is this particular question that stumps us all, why? Because, it wasn’t mentioned in the notes! Oh man…

Okay, back to the outfit, so, I received this skirt a while back, but didn’t have the chance to wear it because I was hibernating at home with my books as company. When I first saw this skirt at supre, it literally took my breath away, I mean, I’ve this crazy obsession with mullet/asymmetrical skirts (I know they are two different thing) and when I saw that supre have this skirt in a sweet lavender colour, I knew, I JUST HAVE TO GET MY HANDS ON IT.

I did a little colour blocking here, a little? Okay, not that little, the green top I had on was a Kelly green, which is a bright colour to be honest. I used the colour wheel as reference and did a triadic colour matching which are namely green, purple and red. I used the red (belt) as an accent colour, and chose to use a deep red for my clutch. Since I already had so much going on, I didn’t want to use a bright red for my choice of bag. Then I used silver jewellery to chic it up some, a feather earring to add some whimsical vibe, and ta dah, my outfit is done! So what do you think of my colour blocking attempt here?

OOTD: ai yai i yai, i'm your little butterfly, green black and blue, make the colours in the sky.

I love the effect of this picture so much. And no, these are raw photos, non edited!

After seeing similar photo in different effect, I guess you get the gist, I do love this photo a lot. haha!

Yupp, I know, it's just a back view.. But still...

In the midst of stealing a bike, just kidding!

Look at how the locket shines, looked as though it's a treasure cove or the sorts.

The butterfly title? Came from here, I used the lyrics from a very old song called butterfly by aqua. I used to love them loads! But somehow they disappeared from the  music world..

And the tall one got bullied by the photographer. pfft..

I love this top, the necklace you see here actually came with the top, not removable though.

I'll be going on a short hiatus until the end of this month.. Reason? I'm having my examinations, ): So my blog posts will all be scheduled, and likely posted every other day rather than daily..  Also, because I'll not be going out during this exam period, so, a couple of my OOTDs will be from Shopwildwolves.  Since I recently did a photoshoot with them, but of course, these OOTDs are something that I see myself wearing and some, I do own them... So, see you girls in May.

OOTD: Say it with ruffles.

I woke up feeling ruffles (ruffled. get it?), and what better way to wear spring? Mint green is the way to go!

This top is ultimate sheer, I bought it from mayuki tokyo, and I'm left with no choice but to pair it with a nude spag just to make it wearable.

I wore too much shorts for work nowadays. Therefore, I would almost always find myself wearing skirts on off days! A girl has to feel girly every once in a while you know?

These days, I'm always using the red longchamp tote, now I am trying to give my attention to my other bags that got kept away in the wardrobe. Like this brown fringe bag, pretty neat to go along with my outfit eh?

Spring. The season of life. The time of year where the earth grants new life.
I guess its the same for fashion. I was never the girl to find clothes hidden somewhere that was never worn. Sadly, I'm one of them now.. I'm rather determined to flush out all these new clothes that I bought last year during Christmas sales.Since its spring, therefore, I will grant new life to my poor forgotten-somewhere-in-my-closet clothes.

OOTD: Floral candy

What do you wear when you need to meet the other family for the first time?

As demure as possible! Of course, I went without the sunnies, demure me? No way, if it's the usual Shermie, definitely with the sunnies on. And no, it wasn't J's family that I was meeting. It's my brother's girlfriend's family, he is getting married! Chant with me, *new room *new room *new room *new room

New belt, vest, ring, necklace, clutch, skirt that i dug out from somewhere, and I found this bracelet hidden away in one of my bags! Have to wear it, since it magically appeared!

At Sheraton hotel. Had a very unpleasant "food tasting" session. The service? One word, YUCKS. Officially on my no-no list, not gonna hold my own wedding there. But that's just my personal opinion, well, of two families actually, long story!

The classic "I dropped something look".

The vest actually have two ribbons sticking out like the above, i hid it inside the vest. And yes, how can I possibly survive the chilly room without my trusty cardigan?

Up-close of the clutch. (:
