I realised I have tonnes of blue stuffs in my wardrobe. In terms of colours, I think blue ranks the first. Anyway, just another busy day for me, school-projects-work. Oh it’s getting to be like a routine or the sorts. End of this week, I’ll have no more projects, but the exams are coming, I can’t wait for May to come! That’s when my holidays start!
I decided to go for all blues, my second attempt at monochromatic effect. I pinned my hair up for a softer effect, sometimes a blazer can be too harsh, a little too formal and primed up.

Home remedy: Keeping your accessories longer part II

Picture 1: without nail polish

Picture 2: With nail polish, as you can see, the difference is really minimal. It's a little shinier and colour would be more vibrant.

The top row is without nail polish, the row at the bottom is with nail polish. For coloured pieces, nail polish might help in adding the vibrancy. The difference is more noticeable up front as compared in photos.

Why do I paint my stuffs?
  1. To slow down the "rusting" speed.
  2. To prevent scratches.
  3. To prevent staining
  4. To add vibrancy
  5. I like my things shiny. (:

OOTD: comfortable in orange

I was really really tired when I woke up that day, I've work later on, and possibly going for it fair.

It fair in Singapore are scary places to go if you hate crowded places! I for one, hate it fairs! They are always so mad crowded!!

Favourite picture, though I don't know what's my hand doing there, seems to have a mind of its own.

When you are feeling exhausted and yet you have to drag your sorry self out of bed due to work commitments and sacrifice the rest that never seems to be enough, what would you wear? There was an IT show going on in Singapore and I wanted to avoid it at all cost. (Imagine the crowd, the pungent smell of human traffic and hard selling promoters. Ugh!) But unfortunately I wasn’t able to this time round. I had to replace my trusty laptop that served me well for years till it decided that it was done with me months ago. I had to use my mom’s ancient desktop to do all my blogging and school stuffs. The horror of the painfully slow processing irritates me till no end. So I’m compelled to go squeeze with the rest of Singapore to get a good deal for myself!

I used an orange flare shorts to make me appear livelier, and also, it’s comfortable! I’m tired and expecting to squeeze with the whole Singapore, so comfort is on the top of my list! The scarf is really just to jazz things up a bit without affecting my comfort level. When I wish to avoid weighing myself down with heavy accessories, scarves are my trusty sidekick.

OOTD: aye aye captain

This outfit just reminds me of sailors, and then I got reminded of my childhood anime character; Sailor Moon. Rather absurd huh?

And I tried taking a picture with the shoelaces untied, after seeing several of the sorts on lookbook.nu

If you ask me, I would much prefer the shoes on top, too much reds going on for this picture.

Of course, I can't go out without my cardigan.

My final choice was this, I felt that the red was really bright, and I didn't want to add on extra bright colours. And of course, flats!

Outfit:
Red stripe tank top; forever 21
Red leatherette skirt; TE
DIY collar here.
Bright green cardigon
Olive green cardigon; bhg
Red leatherette clutch
Red heels; X
Brown fringe boots; asos
Green suede flats
Colourful beads bracelet; similar one here

Turns out there aren’t as much new clothes lying around my wardrobe as I thought there is. Anyways, my objective for my outfit today is to “gain” some weight. Therefore, stripes are the way to go and no bodycon allowed. I paired it up with the leatherette skirt to add a little character into the outfit, what do you think about this red on red?

My spring wants: Accessories( a long post of pictures)

Necklace

I wanna get something that is layered like this with colourful beads.

And something that is similar to this two necklace, beaded fringe, with colourful beads.

Oh how I love thee. I love love love feathers. I did recently buy something feathery at Diva. So, this is just a distraction. =/

I've been looking for necklace, bracelet and ring that have these blue gems on it. Or even green gem.

They can come in forms like this, though I don't really fancy this particular design. Just an example.

What did I say about feathers loving? How could I not love these babies, when they almost always comes in feather form, wait.. I don't remember seeing otherwise, hmmm. I did purchase a dreamcatcher necklace recently, but, it's not enough, I want something like this, of a soft pastel colour. And yes, the one I bought recently is in brown, not pastel.

//I'm also looking for those fringe tassel necklace. (:

BANGLES

I only like the one that came with the blue gem, the rest of the bangles? I've tonnes of it!

I'm looking for something like this, I don't like this particular design though.

This design is similar to something that I'm looking for, but really, I think I can find prettier one, the hunt is ON.

Again, I'm looking for something like this, I don't like this particular design though, I can almost sense it, it's definitely too big for me. ):

I did bought something similar to this, so, this item? CHECKED.

I won't deny, this isn't in my spring wants, but I still like it.

Yet, another distraction, but this really reminds me of the Victorian times, wait no, I mean, those English palace, if it's the same? This also comes in gunmetal colour, though in the site it states, "grey/dark grey". Oh my, I love it, love it! Love both colours!

All above pictures are taken from forever 21 site.

BAGS

I'm also looking for something like this, or even, the same.

MINT GREEN SATCHEL BAG!

OOTD: Say it with ruffles.

I woke up feeling ruffles (ruffled. get it?), and what better way to wear spring? Mint green is the way to go!

This top is ultimate sheer, I bought it from mayuki tokyo, and I'm left with no choice but to pair it with a nude spag just to make it wearable.

I wore too much shorts for work nowadays. Therefore, I would almost always find myself wearing skirts on off days! A girl has to feel girly every once in a while you know?

These days, I'm always using the red longchamp tote, now I am trying to give my attention to my other bags that got kept away in the wardrobe. Like this brown fringe bag, pretty neat to go along with my outfit eh?

Spring. The season of life. The time of year where the earth grants new life.
I guess its the same for fashion. I was never the girl to find clothes hidden somewhere that was never worn. Sadly, I'm one of them now.. I'm rather determined to flush out all these new clothes that I bought last year during Christmas sales.Since its spring, therefore, I will grant new life to my poor forgotten-somewhere-in-my-closet clothes.
